does anyone have experience with the dnr lake maps

I'm planning to download the lake maps provided by your DNR, but I'm not sure if I need to do this on an empty SD card, or if I load it on a card that I have bought for another region.  Any help is appreciated thank you

Its been a long time since I messed with them as they now come as part of most basic lake map chip sets. Here are the instructions for a Garmin download. If you are talking downloading from the ArcGIS part of the website I have zero help for you there.

Don't expect too much info from them but a general idea of the lake shape, depth is usually off so just use them as a topo map.  Might help narrow down fishing structure on a new lake, thats what I use them for.
