Frenchmens Bay ? any news

With this cold hoping to hear Frenchmens is almost frozen over anyone please, for some reason I just want to try this place out..

The main area to fish is the west shore. Even with the thaw the west shore was still frozen and fishable.

Was out there yesterday. There was 8 portable huts on the bay. 3 sail boats on ice runners and 50 people skating. Nothing but a couple of small perch seen on the ice.

In Pickering, between West Shore Blvd and Liverpool Rd.  South of Bailey.

Fished 9 to 1 Friday. Zero fish seen on ice. Water very dirty lot's of silt in the water. Ice is around 9 inches.

Anyone been out on Frenchmans?  Fish reports? I started a new job and haven't been out in week's. Might try perch on Simcoe this weekend.

Hey there Ive been a member here before with different screen names.  Im looking for some ice conditions for frenchmans as Im looking to hit it in a day or two as well as Scugog.  Ill post conditions for scugog once i get there.  But looking for a report so i dont have to worry about driving there for nothing.  Any info would be greatly appreciated please

Haven't been to Frenchmens in a few years but I fish another spot on Lake O and the ice is the best it's been in years.  Can't imagine Frenchmens wouldn't have some good ice.  I'm not familiar with any bad spots or current areas so you can take this all with a grain of salt.   Good luck on the new arrival.

Fished Monday morning 9 to noonish. Ice is great about 16 inches. It was very windy didn't even attempt to put my hut up didn't want to fly away with it. Did not catch or mark anything. I used to do well out there but last couple years can't buy a fish.
