Trying to find a particular brand of jig
« on: Jan 29, 2013, 07:46 AM »
Hi guys,

I’m trying to remember the brand of a jig that was quite popular a couple of years back that I’m struggling to find now (online anyway, haven’t stopped at the store yet).  I had 6 of them but as of a lost giant crappie on Sunday I'm down to 1.  I believe I originally bought them at Fleet Farm.  They came individually packaged and were fairly spendy.  They are a small horizontal glow jig with a fairly fat semi-oval head and short hook shank.  The closest I’m finding is the link below.  What’s different on the ones I have is that the eye is more on top and turned 90 degrees.  Also there is no bead on the shank.

Thanks for your help!

You just pictured one of the most highly used designed lure though the ice for panfish. Try these links

a popular brand name of those tungsten jigs are Fiskas brand they sell them at bass pro and gander mtn. and im sure a bunch of other places aswell. Thats what i have always used and they are pretty much identical to the pictures u posted shape wise. I think the fiskas run almost 4 bucks a piece so thats probably the pricey aspect you were refering to.
