Quality on Frabills and HTs
« on: Sep 23, 2013, 06:28 PM »
Has the quality on Frabill's and Ht's been going down? I own a couple frabills but I am looking at getting atleast 1 or 2 more. Are they even worth buying anymore?

Maybe......Last year I bought a frabill rod and really like it but it was one of there higher end rods. There reels are crap! Dont even think about combos. Ht has some trash products but they make some great high end rods too. If you want the best for your money and have a little fun..... build some. You can make them as quality as you want and an ice rod is not to hard to build.

You could start here....http://www.mudhole.com/Rod-Building/Ice-Rod-Building-Kits

Check in at your local sporting goods stores, many have the kits on hand.  ;)
