What Was This Guy Using?
« on: Jan 02, 2010, 08:43 AM »
I am quite the walleye rookie and last night we went to a lake and some guy showed us what he uses to crack the tough bite.  It was a long, curved teardrop type jig.  Wondering if anyone knows what they are called and if you use them.

More than likely a Swedish Pimple.....they work at times, I'm more of a buckshot rattle spoon person but have tried just about every lure known to man over the past 60 years...lol.

They were not pimples or buckshots.  They looked more like two stick's pics (say that five times fast)  what are they?  Have you ever used them?

I use these jigs all the time! they come in all sorts of sizes and I usually use some of the smaller ones for crappie fishing.  The moon-lite color is my favorite.  When I first seem them I thought of the "moon man" McDonald's use to have for the kids toys in the 90's.  These are a longer curved type tear drop. They are usually sold separately. mjmmusser  is right on what they are. Try them out.
