I'm 73 years old and been ice fishing for at least 60 years. And I can actually say this is the first year that I did not get my equipment down and go ice fishing because  of the conditions. I have some health issues and that has stop me from going. The month of february is not looking good to freeze up again. I hate to say it but warm can come and we can start  putting the boat in. Some guys got out and from it look they all did pretty good at times.  Maybe next year will be right.

Yeah, ice has been gone for over a week here now, and the forecast doesn't look good at all for this month. I haven't gotten my stuff all stored away just yet, but it doesn't look like it will be getting used again until next winter.
