Yesterday I went to use my 2+ yr old Pistol Bit and the drill just spun. Turns out my set screw that holds the auger to the adapter came out. I haven't been paying attention to it, and probably should have. Must have loosened up in the Jet Sled bumping around on the crusty ice.
So my suggestion if you have one of these is to hit that screw with some blue locktite to save you potentially losing the screw.
Luckily I found the screw in the sled today. Used the chisel yesterday to get by.
