Custom Jigs And Spins Purest

Any of you use the purest much? It's a small flat vertical jig with a plastic covering on it. Here pansies won't hit without bait, so I have to tip them. Do u miss lots of strikes when you tip them because of the small hook gap? They look like good little jigs though.

If you're careful you can always open the hook gap a bit. Aids in hooking percentage along with pinching the barb down for easier penetration, easier on light line hookset, they do tend to pull and keep themselves on. Use them in weeds for pannies at times, just put a little Pautzkes Liquid  Krill or a shrimp scent on them, rarely carry live bait anymore
