I'm looking for some new lakes or ponds in the quad cities.
Thanks
Matt

Checked mautinos today and no way yet.  2-21/2" on the small pond I checked and was alot of wet areas on the other ponds there.

I'm not familiar with Mautinos, where is that and is it good fishing?

I haven't been down to check and see if it's safe yet, but Lake Storey in Galesburg is normally good ice fishing.  You can catch lots of Crappies, and hook into the ocassional bigger fish.

I've heard people like fishing Lake George, but I personally haven't done well there.

Potters Lake (Sunset Marina) is good ice fishing.

If you get access to any private ponds, PM me and I'd be happy to keep you company =)

Mautinos is reclaimed strip mines.  It can be good but fish can be hard to locate at times.  I just fish it cause it is just a few minutes from my house
