I haven't been for a couple years but used to get them from Westside Sporting goods in Malta. Also If you are coming through Havre they have them at Reds Auto Parts and the Sinclair on the east side of town.

Westside is the only minnow provider as far as I know.  Arlen Rammel had been selling minnows up until 2016 but he stopped.  The Buffalo at the lake quit selling around 2010.  It's best to contact Westside prior to heading there to make sure they have an adequate supply.  Often times they're limited to tiny minnows which are useless for tip-ups.

We usually hit Roberts on the way up,last trip all they had was a a very few good size sucker minnows and the tiny perch minnows.Looking for a backup spot near the lake if we have to make a run.Thanx for all the info!
