Clear Lake/Mason City area

Headed up to Clear Lake area end of January, how's the yellow bass bite that time of year, any specific presentation that works well during mid season ice.  Also any decent pike lakes in the area, thought about spending an afternoon chasing flags.  Thanks in advance.

Usually the yellow bite is still pretty good. Check out Clear Lake bait and tackle on Facebook or their website. They give information and post videos almost daily.

I've gone out with Kevan Paul and crew a few times.  Going to try our luck on our own this year.
