Snowshoes were a must, really helped keep our feet out of the 8" of slush.

Not my kids but it's my fiance and 2 of my little sisters. They like to get out on the ice with me when it's not to unbearably cold.

So the girls didn't bring this one to the ice but they had a great day of play! The pike was 38" and 14 lb, 4 oz.

His first pike and largest fish! You should have seen his eyes when it decided to make its first run and ripped the line through his fingers.

It made another 4 runs before he landed it.
