Newbie here saying great site!!!

Found myself here quite by accident and glad I'm here. Been reading and learning lots and loving it as I am never to old to learn. Live in the Bangor area and looking forward to a great winter season! Hopefully this year will be better then the last 2. Hope everyone has a great day.

Don't tip your hand to any favorite spots but, where do you do your fishing?  I grew up in Brewer and enjoyed most of the ponds on that side of the river and now make Millinocket my home.  By all means, please post pictures to the board.  We all love to see trophies- big or small; and people enjoying the special ability to walk on water... even if it is for only 3-months a year.  You will also find that pictures of kids-out-fishing will draw special, well deserved attention.

I'm very glad to see any new member to the site and especially one that is considered to reside on the north end of the state. (Here I go starting up the North versus South argument- I'm sure I'll catch my fair ration for that!)

Welcome to you both!  I was new to this site last year and was my first year ice fishing as well - couldn't have found a better site for learning the sport and for making new friends.  One of the best sites I've ever been on!  And I agree with whoever said watch out - because it is habit forming!  Enjoy  ;D ;D
