Looking for Good Trout pond for 2-18
« on: Feb 12, 2008, 10:58 AM »
I am looking for a good trout pond to ice fish on Monday.  I have the day off and the wife has to work so I figured I'd head out fishing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for all the replies.  Trout are good.....for eating.  I don't know why you would waste them on anything else.

Hopefully the weather is decent on monday.

JUST A HEADS UP , LAKE QUINSIG IS HAVING A DERBY THIS SUNDAY , SO I WOULDNT GO THERE ON MONDAY, TROUT AND SALMON ARE PART OF THE CATEGORIES.... YOUR BEST BET WOULD BE COMET. ITS NOT THAT BIG AND WHEN FISHING THEIR YOU HAVE A REAL GOOD CHANCE TO CATCH A MONSTER SALMON OR TROUT

i wouldnt go to long pond for trout this time in the season the only time that i caught them there was in the spring when they stocked it. als it is fished heavy for them and most are gone by the end of the fall but good luck
John
