Just looked at the extended forecast. Dec 16th I should be walking on solid water. This may be the earliest for me while keeping it local. Sweet!

December 15th was first ice for me last year. hoping for the same. Family from the south will be up for holidays,  hope to show them some ice

I was out on the 10th last year.  I def won't beat that this year but I'm planning on getting out there on the 16th.

I think I'm going to make a little drive and do some scouting on Saturday or Sunday so maybe I'll have some pics of me standing on ice.

No more dangerous than driving to work but appreciate the sentiments.  I dont step where my spud tells me not too!

I met the gentleman that fell at Mansfield last year last Sunday...really nice guy.
