Took my 11 year old up to beavertail outside of missoula on sunday. Ice was about 4", action was slow. Had one trout, and several suckers swim by the holes and that was about it. We planned on Harpers, but with the weather decided to just head down to Beavertail. Army son got in right when we did, I think we will head up to Harpers/Seeley on Friday. No beer on the Beaverail trip, had kid and bad weather, played it safe. Friday, the boy can drive, so Muley can enjoy some refreshing adult beverages and hopefully the fish won't pester me. 8)
