Thorne Bros will be having their annual portable modification get-together on September 26th. Clam, Frabill, and Vexilar will all be in attendance with some of the new products if anyone wants to see them first hand.

The Expedition FLR and the Summit FLR are the only ones with floors that you will be able to sleep in..

The sleeper is gone unless you can find a used one someplace..

Does anyone know anything about the new popups, specifically the summit (without the floor)?  Any info would be appreciated.  Does it come with ice anchors?  How many doors?  Does it setup easily?  What are the windows like?  I realize it's September and it's not out yet, but I figured someone on here might know something.

I was wondering why the Nanook is cheaper than the guide.. Ive had my eye on the guide all year long (asfter buying a scout). I was just a lil worried about the comfort of the bench seat.. ??? Ive been comparing the guide to the trekker 2 and now the Nanook is available. I wish i could see one in person. has anyone bought the Nanook yet?

I emailed clam and none of the new designs have the trap link zippers in the back like the older ones.

Plan to order a smaller fishtrap for when i'm alone.  I like the specs on the pro and scout and am leaning towards the pro.  What i am confused about is the specs on the newer models taking the place of the pro and scout.  The kodiak (taking the place of the pro) is a whopping 10 inches taller.  I love the headroom in my yukon but one of the reasons for getting a smaller coop is for smaller profile in the wind.  Seems to me having the "pro" kodiak sit up 10 inches higher would make it rattle quite a bit more in the wind.  Any thoughts on this??

I do like my scout becuase of the mobility... I can pick up and move in under a minute, but Im a pretty big guy (6'1" 230) and the scout is a lil cramped... Im normally fishing alone but it would be nice to have the Nanook if someone else would like to go along with me... At that price you really cant beat it! At 80lbs I think I could manage to pull it alone.  My lake doesnt allow atv's or snowmoiles.... :'(  Does anyone know which big retail stores will stock the new Nanook??? all i have around me is a gander mountain and dicks sporting goods. Cabelas is a 2 ride... Bass pro is outta the question.

Gander should carry it, but it will say Gander mountain on the blue canvas. I know the stores by me carry the entire clam lineup.

the only difference is the old guide had the whole front as the door the "new" style has the door to the left side

All clam house are cheaper this year for only one reason to make it more buyer friendly in this day and age every dollar counts in your billfold
