The Josh Russell Memorial Fishing Derby has been called off. I was out there fishing and the ice conditions were not good at all. A few committee members came by to see what ice was out there and after taking it over, they cancelled the derby.
I had to call a friend to warn him that their bob house was in danger on going in or at least stranded because of a huge open crack. I ended up spending the next 3 hours working to get his and his buddies house off the lake. It was a very scary situation pulling the bigger of bob houses across open water cracks but we got both of them off safe
