you can buy a tri pod for a camera from aqua-vu......they work alright but its just something else to have to dink around with on the ice....Im not a huge camera guy I mean dont get me wrong they are nice to play around with but what a pain all the time when you want to move you have to wrap up 80 miles of cords and then unwind them again....I use my Humminbird and you couldnt ever get me to buy another camera.....
i use the camera for mainly the kids.. the cam does have a place in the shallow water scene.. i also have a bird and use it 95% of the time.. plus yes i (we I THINK) know that marcum and aqua have panners but hey, if i can save like $50 making something not needing more batts. so be it!
they have them on the fleet farm website for 12 bucks........I did buy one when I had my camera but it just sits around now......I did like having it so I wasnt always fumbling with the cords.....come to think of it a buddy of mine actually made on using 2 paint stir stick and a clothes pin..........drilled a hole in the paint sticks bolted the clothes pin to the sticks and vwalla there you have it......
really? i was just on there and didnt see anything like that! can you post a link?
oops!! my bad!! my eyes way faster than brain apparently!! thanx for the mail anyhow!!
I made this last year from an old plastic cutting board that was lying around. I bought two plastic cleats and SS screws. I think the total was around $7.00.(Image removed from quote.)
