One of the most versatile spoon there is...I've caught plenty from bluegills and crappies, to walleyes, perch, channel catfish, and of course good ol Northern Pike himself.

Sorry lefty, gotta disagree. Rock bass, despite their common name are a species of sunfish along with largemouth and smallmouth "bass".

Strange but true...

Examples of "true" bass are: white/yellow bass, striped and hybrid "wipers".

True ..I believe it was sometime last season the SEARCH function was not working properly ...wow was that a bummer of a time ..I have posted countless times on threads/answers to questions about using the SEARCH function . And having that option is great to hyperlink a past thread to give a reoccurring question ice cleats ,cordless drills etc to help the inquisitive IS member get pointed in the right direction . I have/have not bought some ice fishing items based on researched reviews/comments of products of past IS members.

Last year I was dropping a 1/16oz tungsten jig and kept seeing a mark come up and look at it then go back down, this happen over and over.
I switched to a tingler spoon and dropped it down and this 4lb large mouth took it.

Basically if the fish are not eating what you are dropping then change it up...

Sometimes lures can be classified as search and/or call in lures ..you may need another bait/or lure to get a bite . Fish with a dead stick at your side this will learn you pretty quick ..some days the dead stick will out produce other days the lure will out produce ...other days you can draw them in without producing a single hit  ..but switch to a different lure to seal the deal. Having several rods with different lures is a sure fire way to get on the bite . Often when fishing my basin area I will use decoying baits ...set high with live bait on tip downs for crappie .Can be seen from a distance ..both above/below the ice this keeps the school in the area for a bit as well as giving me a heads up which way the school is headed upon getting a hit.

And what exactly should i get i dont have many ice lures

I stick with natural colors and patterns ..and start your collection ..jigs ..spoons..hard baits ...glow and rattles are great additions .

Green, Green and more green. It's the next big thing. Fish see green farther down in the water column than any other color.
