Get this.... I just turned on the news and saw that PETA made a stop in Syracuse with their new campaign claiming... "Thanksgiving Is Murder On Turkeys" how much more stupid can this group get???

They say give the birds "something to be thankful for" and eat "tofurkey" whatever the h*** that is. Hearing this makes me want to eat twice as much turkey as I normally would

This is the same group that want to change the name of the Catskills and the town Fishkill because they have the word kill in them. It just shows how these bleeding heart liberals are nothing but spoiled brats with trust funds to support them. How else can they go around protesting everything and not have a job to support themselves.

Forget PETA, Don't waste your time. Mainstream America is not influenced by their extreme B.S.. Putting a ban on using worms to fish was one of the issues and many people thought that was ridiculous.
Have to say some of their ideas have some merit, keeping fish alive at tournaments is a positive, but other issues show how out of touch they are!!!!!!

The stupid rooster fishes want to ban fishing in state parks because pepole shouldn't have to witness the horrible violence of us landing the fish.

My question is if PETA thinks fish are so smart why to they keep falling for the same trick year after year generation after generation. Now if a fish were truly smart and remember like PETA says shouldn't fishing be next to impossible by now? LOL these people need to get a life and keep out of yours and mine.

I always like how if a fish, bird, or bear kills another fish, that's nature and part of the food chain, but if a person kills and eats a fish, that's cruelty.

PETA might seem like a harmless group and their tactics foolish but did anyone see 60 Minutes the other night. (I believe that was the program) Talked about a group called the ELF (Earth Liberation Front) and its offshoot the ALF (Animal Liberation Front). Both groups have targeted organizations that they feel are harmful to the environment (ELA) or insensitive to the "rights" of animals (ALF). They have burned hundreds of millions of $ in property belonging to real estate companies and research groups. They interviewed an MD (Pediatrician, I believe) in California who said that if 1, 5, 10, 20 or more people have to die in order for society to educate themselves and stop abusing animals then so be it. He said they should target people like the CEO of large poultry companies, etc. He said he wouldn't kill, after all he is a DR. but is suggesting that it would be justifiable. Now that is scary to think that these extremist groups would condone murder.

lmao!!!... but seriously they accompished there goal and got under a number of our skins. so i say let them eat there toturkey(tofu turkey!!!!! yeah thats the option to real turkey they were proposing) and let the thread die. jmho
