January 17-18 is a 2015 Wisconsin free fishing weekend

Just a reminder, this coming weekend is the free fishing weekend in WI. No license required for residents or non-residents.  Take someone new to fishing out with you and show em the ropes. You may just find a new fishing partner.

We did this last year with about 5 or 6 friends that had never ice fished. All of them caught fish last time and are coming along again this year and maybe more! One now has his own flasher and shack...

Looks like good weather too!

Yesss!  That just so happens to be the weekend my daughter and I are planning to fish Green Bay for the first time.  Pick me, pick me, pick me!!!   ;D ;D ;D   We're new to Wisconsin fishing and could use someone to show us the ropes.

I hope you can find someone to tag along with valpogirl.  I'd check into the sturgeon bay area. Lots of good fishing to be had just a short ride north of GB.
