for those of you on the Wisconsin forum.  we lost  a great guy and asset to our sport. he was a good friend and fellow guide buddy.   Jim Hudson died this evening.  he was with clients  and  his snowmobile went through the ice  . they did get him back out but the sudden shock made his heart stop. they tried cpr and got him to the er but he never made it.. our hearts and prayers go out to him and his family ..   if you dont know him . he was a usual guide for John Gelespies Wisconsin Water's and Woods tv show.  and he was on todays episode  his guide service was Hudson's on the spot

He was a great man with a wealth of  and passion for fishing that he wasnt afraid to share with other people, the sport truly will be less without him.
I say its a hobby, my wife says its a sickness!

Jim was such a great guide and guy. Always willing to lend a hand to point out a solid spot to a novice Cheq Bay fisherman like me. Words cannot describe how sad I am. Condolences go out to his wife Hannah and his family   What a great fisherman Wisconsin lost   just so shocked and saddened by this

Always loved his show and reports on lake-link.  He was a great guy that always helped a person out.  Condolences to the family.
