All I have heard is that the fish just aren't in the river yet, or perhaps they just aren't in the river where everyone is fishing in Stratham. All I am hearing is Zero Zero Zero from guys. If it's possible the fishing is worse than it was last year.

Went out on Sat night w/2 other guys and we got a dozen, missed another dozen at least. Similar reports and catches from 2 shacks next to us as well. Nothing to get too excited about but we did not get skunked. We did end up with 1 smelt at 11.5" long and I wished I took a pic of it cause it was the largest one I have seen in a long time (other then Ice Trappers of course). He catches more smelt then anyone I know on the river. I have set up next to him a few times and if we catch 10 he will have 20+....

We also caught about 6 tommy cod.

its getting better ive got 30+ the laast 3 times and last thursday i heard 65 in the shack behind me and 70+ behind them you have to fish the whole incoming time cuz the schools work there way thru at random times thru out that tide but if you stick it out you will get more then a dozen
