Bottom Line LCG

I just won a new 1200 BL fish finder (not the buddy), with the side finder gizmo. I fish with a vex now, and wouldn't trade it for the world. My question is...would it be worth setting this unit up for the ice for the side finder alone.  Also...if anyone has one of these things set up, how did you do it.  The transducer is enourmous!!

That's exactly what I was thinking.  A moving school of perch or crappie may be easy to pin point.
