Vexilar "blue light" conversion?
« on: Oct 01, 2017, 01:04 PM »
Was cruising the local Craig's list today and came across a FL20 that had blue leds.  I looked it up and it appears that vexilar use to offer it as a service for $50. Just curious whether anyone had it down and what your thoughts were.

Was an upgrade for color blind people.

One with the upgrade.....no.

I have seen the color pallet on my FLX 28.

Like anything the color pallet is just getting use to reading stuff......I'm use to the original colors so I leave my FLX28 on it.

If the price is right I wouldn't be worried about it.

on the flx28 the blue/red color pallette is pretty nice.jig is red then when fish come in as blue and the ones that are very close to the bait turn bright white so you know which fish to target.when fishing gets slow I switch color pallettes on my vex.seems to keep me interested lol.

seeing as red green is the most common form of color blindness I always wondered why vex chose it core colors there.....I would love another color option for me. Not that I haven't gotten used to using vex. normal colors....at least little of it that I can see......red/green color blind here.......eh, still works well and hasn't cost me any fish.....
Its all fun and games until someone loses a walleye.......

Being color blind as well, I agree it is tough seeing red/green. I keep my 28 on the 5 color setting.  Hell, I have enough trouble seeing if the charger is red or green, have to ask my kid! Ha ha

Man I'd hate to be color blind.....my favorite part is watching the colors change then feeling the tug.
