Fished 1/19 for only a couple hours ice was 6" and clear. Caught about 20 crappie from 6-8" all released. Fishing in 13' water schools would come by at 6-8' and the vex would just light up. Had a good time.

Hello, never ice fishing at Swanson Reservoir, but I did a lot of open water.  My question is is the whole lake is ice cover? Where is the best place to fish for walleye and crappie. Thanks
