I won a door prise. Kid walk away with it. Fun times! Out of two of us. 3 rainbows, 3lbs ish and I stayed out late last night and caught 12 walleye 14-16 inches, Keeped 6 for dinner, good eaters. The 3lb walleye was caught 20 yards from me. Around 5:30 my flasher started lighting up.  I was fishing in around 6 inches of standing water/slush on top of the ice. That sucked. In all the fishing was slow and we had some girlfriend issues. Don't get me started on that :sick: I'm cold and I need to go home early. You showed up in jeans and a jacket. What can I say. I have to admit she never said a word but my fishing partner for the derby was doing all the talking.  I'm pleading the 5th. We where supposed to fish through Monday and I'm home.  :'( Off to Glendo tomorrow.

I only caught three fish this weekend but this morning I won the first hour so that was good. The ice sucked as others have said but I'm glad I made it to the derby once again.

No prizes here! One guy that went with us won 50 bucks, fishing Saturday was slow but steady none the less, iced pry 5 trough between seven of us all big enough to enter at over 3lbs, lots on bites and set off jaw Jackers but hooks just wouldn't set! Bite was actually really soft on alot of them and wouldn't commit till 3rd hit or so! Good weekend, but today was not so good!

thanks guys great weekend the fishing was slow for us as well. we caught 3dink walleyes and 3 bows between 4 of us that big one was the only fish I caught. planning on hitting it again next year for a third time. I will try to post a pic of the fish.
