Big bows and cutties at the gorge

For the first time in a long time, the trout in flaming gorge are BIG. We had to kind of live through the down years of the rare 18” trout. I’m happy to say that this winter things have changed dramatically. My dad and I caught probably close to 30 with most of them being over 18” and a few of those the 20-22” variety.

Nice video Trent!
I was out on the gorge with a friend the day after Thanksgiving and we were catching similar sized trout from his boat. Got skunked ice fishing yesterday but really looking forward to ice fishing the gorge this year

Nice day on the ice for sure. I need to get my boys to the FG again. We went 2 years ago and they each caught 1 pup and that was it.
