Pike Dude:
Are gills and perch legal to use for bait in Vermont this year. What if you jig them up and throw them on a hook? Just a thought.

yes as long as you use them in the same body of water. Same with smelt. I used to jig smelt and then go fish for Pike somewhere else but no more....jim s
