So with just the cold weather last night I found about a 1/2" on a good sized private pond.

Was in north west Michigan all weekend. Driving back to Fort Wayne yesterday saw ice forming all the way to the Indiana line. Bays were skimming over. Hardy Dam Pond was freezing nicely up there.
Heart in Michigan. Stuck in Indiana.

Local ponds were starting to skim up here yesterday afternoon, so I took vaca for Thursday-Monday. My fingers are crossed on those at/below zero forecasts for Wednesday and Thursday nights being correct.

Hoping they finishished skinning last night, because it is supposed to be pretty windy tonight through Wednesday.

I'm not far enough up the food chain to pull that with HR yet  :roflmao:

Just rolled the dice and hope the forecasters are accurate 3-5 days out.

Looked at some channels up here around Syracuse. A nice skim. Should lock right up.

Noble County lakes(that I passed)all looked like they capped over last night. I checked one I usually get on early and it had an inch of solid clear ice. Tonight should put on more, shouldn’t take long if we keep this cold temperature and clear nights. Hex
