HELLO
Just thought I would let all the Idaho fisherman know that the annual Cascade res. Ice fishing derby is Feb. 16 & 17.
Come on up and join us. Bring the kids along. There is a category for them as well. Biggest "game" fish takes it.
It is usually a real good time. Should be plenty of Ice for all.

PLUMROB HAVE YOU HAD ANY SUCCESS ON CASCADE THIS YEAR? I WAS UP THERE 2 WEEKS AGO FISHING BY THE GOLF COURSE AND STRUCK OUT. LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME WE WERE CATCHING THEM ALL DAY LONG. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S THE SNOW, OUR MAYBE ITS JUST THE FISHERMAN.

Sorry I did not reply earlier. But I had not been out or even talked with anyone.
Went for a little while yesterday. Very slow. Everyone I talked to said it was slow for them also. No big trout that i have heard of.
Lots of water and slush on the ice now. Been real warm for up here. The January thaw a little late.
Should still be fun.

how's cascade? Fished it alot in the past few years, but moved to North Idaho.
My buddy says he hasn't been there this year, he lives in Riggins now, gas prices or something like that. That's no excuse.
