Title: looking for a starting point

 ;DHI i am new here and i want to ice fish for ll salmon and lakers. for next season also what mo is safe ice to do this? can you point me at where to go for them. where a bait shop that is handy. also well need a place to stay at. need town names for all of it. i would be very grateful for any and all help on this thanks so much marten ??? :tipup: :tipup:

I believe you are out of luck for this season. the season for land lock salmon and lake trout are closed right now. I also do not believe there is any safe ice in the NEK with the weather we have had. We went from 12 inches of ice to open water in about 4 days.
