Title: Lock your Hubs Mario
Post by: TRT on Jan 22, 2019, 11:19 AM
A weekend of stuck trucks was immortalized with a nickname. I could not figure out
how my F150 with highway tires was getting through but the F250 diesel with
great snow treads kept getting stuck. I asked if he was in 4H, 4L, etc.
We spent cumulatively 2 hours shoveling, pushing etc
this guy out only to find out his F250 needed to manually lock the hubs.
&#@$#@#$%$#@ Uggh

Any 250 owner that doesn't know how his axle works should probably stay on pavement.

I've seen that before too. I can see forgetting to lock them in, but after a minute you'd have to realize you weren't in 4x4...

Why would the NEK kill you? Why does this guy even have a big pickup if he doesn’t know younhavr to lock hubs. More money than brains.

That sucks.
Honestly most dudes driving 3/4 ton trucks dont even need them.
Hes obviously one of them.

The guy is funny, always laughing, extremely hard working an look forward to fishing with him again in
June (fly in walleye), I have no issues. Yep, added a lot of work to an already challenging weekend
but a he has a nickname now...
