I think this is just a tease. It's forcast to get up around 50 again next week. What lake would you like to have it at this year Tony?

Maybe try Little Swartswood. I know last years get together was on big swartswood

Shawn and I will be discussing locations and lining up sponsors over the next several weeks.

It's way too early to try and make a location decision as we don't even have the ice yet. As you know many years we just have to go where the ice is.

As soon as we have things lined up I will post about the Get Together.

Depending on weather and ice conditions we'll probably shoot for mid January.

Lake Hopatcong might be a tough sale this year. The water level is down by 5 feet this year, a scheduled draw down. Most of the State Park area might be too shallow to even bother...

. But nothing has been decided yet.

Hopatcong started to refill on 12/1. It's been dry, so its a big if.

From talking to people I know that live on the lake . The lake will be down all winter & so will Cranberry to repair dock's & land

Muscenetcong is also down a good amount of feet. Not sure if that is/was an option for the get together but just so people know in general.

how about big swartswood? don't want to step on paradise fishing club's toes, they have fishing tourneys there. it's a nice place to fish. large and small swartswood.

Lake Muscnetcong is too shallow to begin with. If it's drawn down it'll be like fishing in a puddle. What about Greenwood lake on the NY side if it freezes over good?

Yeah that was my thought I just wanted to pass along the info for anyone that didn't know. I'd vote for Budd since it's close to me, and the parking should be good enough for the amount we get, but not sure if last year's incident makes budd a not sure about it.

If you go down 17A and keep going straight at the bottom of the hill and go through the center of town all the way to the end there's a beach and parking lot. I think that would be big enough for us.

You mean for Budd? If you are, i'm not sure what 17A is, the exit off 80 is 26, but yeah that parking lot by the beach would be plenty big enough.

17A is route designation in NY. If you turn right onto it from route 94N in Warwick it takes you into Greenwood lake.

AJ are you going to be aloud to go ice fishing this year. You have to ask the wife if your aloud out with the boy's & not just a 4 hour trip . ALL DAY & can you fish in NY this year you cheep FP!!! LOL
