Fished the south lake this past weekend,started fishing Saturday morning and didn't even have time to drink my coffee! Fish were feeding heavy till 2pm or so! The cold front on sunday slowed them down a bunch but managed to catch a couple early. Ice was 13" with a little slush in spots from the warm day on Saturday and the 8" of snow on it. Should be packed down nicely by early week with this cold front! Ended up with 9 walleye 17-22" and 3 decent perch. Never a dull moment with the hammer handle pike feed taking place tho!!
