I'm sure there is a practical purpose for that thing, just not sure what it is.  Kudos to those who designed it I guess???

Seems to be a terrible waste of a good sled and a once decent jon boat.

Ya see! Here in Mich alot of guys hit the great lakes and ca be 7 to 10 miles out then suddenly the 36" of ice is now a 2 mile size ice burg carrying them and there truck out into the lake. And that can happen any time in the winter.

I know that. Lived in Holland and fished the big lake lots. Saw a 1/2 inch crack turn into 100 yards of open water in an hour. Good thing we were on the good side.

I like it an would use it here in the Apostle Islands. I dont have the boat but I have the sled for doing it.

I could see that working good for going to our cabin in April or May if there is still snow on the ground. Except fishing season is closed March 31.................... ..

Great idea for emergency responders, doesn`t seem to be enough room to carry ice gear etc. But could save a life .

I could see Emergency responders using it, but what person would want it for personal use?

Consider the price, snowmobile + jonboat+ outboard= what? that thing must be over 20k

Get an ARGO or a MAX and they already have all the baby problems worked out. Or there's the newer Wilcraft, saw one in use, not fast but it works. http://www.thewilcraft.com/
