Power auger blade

I have an old 49cc magnum.  It runs great but I do not like the stop at the end of the cut the dam thing allways hangs up and I get a leg full of the handle or it spins me >:(.  I was wondering if it is worth buying a new auger if it will fit and put it on.  If you know where i can get ont that is cheep or damaged in some way that would be great.  I can prob fix or weld it back together.  A way to fix mine would be great also. I have replaced the cutting blade also and it cuts better but stilll catches.  

Will a hand auger fit and take the stress also.
