Nothing personal, but since when did our first amendment guaranteed right of freedom of speech and expression turn into our first amendment conditional privlege so long as you check with everyone first and don't step on any ones toes or hurt anyones feelings? The fact that Kevin had to worry about someone being offended by his avaitor is offensive to me. If you don't like it don't look at it. I understand that some may have some deep personal feelings toward certian symbols or pictures. GET OVER IT. I am sure you have your reasons Kevin and you shouldn't have to explain them or justify them to anyone. I for one respect you for that. It is your right. If I have a problem with it, I can choose not to look at it. That is MY right.

Carry on Kevin, I wouldn't change a thing. Brian

Scott asks me to change my avitar constantly. Maybe if Scott was to read this we could use any avatar we wanted..........right scott? ;) 8) 8)

For the record, I just wanted y'all to know that Scott did not ask me to change it (at least he hadn't yet ;)).  I got a copy of the complaint and he mentioned to me that there was a complaint.  But it was my idea to change the avatar and he agreed with my decision.

Any man that has a handle by the name of FATBOY will have to try a lot harder that flying the confederait flag to offend me. ;)

Your a big man (no pun intended) to change your avitar and not put up a fight. Because, you are right this is a fishing site you come here to enjoy talking about fishing, not have a political debate.

I would have totally understood if Kevin used a pornographic picture or his aviator made some racial or direct personal attack on someone or a certian group of people, but that clearly wasn't the case. My 6 year old son reads this and if that is what was happening, I would have had a problem with it and rightfully so, but if that type of aviator was acceptable to Scott and the administrators I would have just removed my son's access. I could find fault with any avaitor or username or choice of vehicle or ice shack or fishing pole or auger or, or, or, if that was my motivation. This is a great site and I have personally learned a ton from all of you. I am a member of a few other forums (not fish related) that censor your type and don't allow you to be free with your choices. I don't want to see that happen here.

 >:(to all of you who were offeneded or say the war is over, that flag flew over a lot of proud men who died for it's cause, not what color they were,it was for what they beleived in.anyone who takes offense to it needs to take a real long hard look at themselves and where the predjudice really fallls.i think it is such an injustice to the people who died under that flag or any flag for that matter to have it portrayed as any thing other that what it was intended to represent, honor ,integrity and a strong beleif to denfend what they thought was right.

I'm working on a new Mason-Dixon Ice Team logo/avatar soon G3, much better than the one that I've got there now.  I just need some time to finish it.  I think that everyone will like it.
