southern will county pond report 3/3/19

fished a pond near peotone this morning. found 4.5 to 5" of clear to milky ice. shorelines near reeds were in poor/unsafe shape. fished a couple really good looking spots but manged only one bass. bluegill and crappie were extremely negative. watched a lot of fish on the graph come up and then swim off slowly. only had two other "nibbles" other than that bass. ice fishing in march tho, i'll take it.

Was tough this weekend. We got our share but had to scrap for them. If things arent safe down south go north to the border. We have 12" of ice on the chain still.
