New to the site

After fishing open water for over 30 years, I finally decided to learn how to ice fish in early 2007.  I had a great teacher and did pretty well.  I live in CT and fish all over the northeast.  I am looking forward to learning some tips and techniques from all the experts here.

Welcome to IceShanty.  I don't know if there are any experts here(well maybe Mr. Seaguar), but there is plenty of knowledge on here should you need a question answered.

I dont know if I am an expert or not, but I do know I catch a heck of a lot more fish than some people who buy a lot of fancy crap. AND brag about about it in chatrooms. But I dont have my picture plastered all over the internet, like a piscatorial Cindy Margolis.

Pork Rind,....I see you are from Ohio.   I was just wondering if this might be true or not.  I heard that Ohio has no natural lakes.  It said they are all man made.  I can't hardly believe that since we have our share here in Indiana and we are neighbors.
