A bass and perch weekend
« on: Feb 21, 2015, 03:31 PM »
Went out Friday and today with my brother. Friday was all bass. Cold and windy, and a little trouble with the auger, but we managed 7 bass, the two biggest being around 2 lbs. They weren't lunkers, but it was a lot of fun, and the first bass of the season for both of us.
Today we went to Littleville and had nothing but perch.  Trouble with the auger again, but got it fine tuned and we had a run of four flags in less than five minutes. One had a nice big belly. I'm not great with technology, so I don't have pictures, but it was a good couple of days, and we got home before the snow.
In it for the fight.  Catch and Release

Nice work, Jeff! Bass have been scarce in these parts lately so I am glad you found some.Brian and I are going to the pike spot tomorrow if you are interested.
Being on ice is nice but the tug is the drug.
