Just read that Ricketts Glen (Sullivan/Luzerne) has 5" of ice as of today, 12/19/2019.
It's catch-and-release until 1/1/2020 because of it having been drained a couple summers back. A PFBC biologist report stated that fish populations had bounced back better than expected, so that's why it will lift restrictions on January 1.
And usually if Ricketts has good ice, you can also go to other nearby ponds.
