Cadilac MI, Lake Mitchell
« on: Dec 31, 2005, 12:28 AM »
We fished Lake Mitchell today 12/30, in the morning we fished of the access on the south side of the lake. There was 7" to 8" of ice, we caught alot of very small gills and a couple of hand sized crappie and lost one nice pike. In the afternoon we moved to the boy scout camp on the west side of the lake, fishing was worse we had no flags, caught only one small gill and a couple more hand sized crappie. At the bait store at the intersection of 55 and 115 we seen one nice walleye that was caught on lake Cadilac, they would not say where, just said they were jigging with a #5 rapala minnow.  We will be fishing Hamlin lake near Ludington saturday 12/30, any ice or fishing reports would be appreciated. Thanks, trhunter1
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
