All my grandson wants for Christmas from me is ice fishing stuff. So I put together a power noodle and a one 3 descent reel.

He is headed in the right direction. My friend and I both have grandsons 18 and 19 that have no intention of going to work. No desire of having their own cars and do nothing but play on their phones.

Grandkids are the best, and fishing is a great family activity to share.

My youngest grandkid had to wait 12 hrs. after birth to get her first rod:



She's 3 now and I finally got her to visit during fishing season this year so she could get her first fish:



Thankfully, they moved closer so she can get more chances.  I think "ice age" in their family is probably 5.

My oldest grandson is 18 and enjoys fishing. He hasn't gone as much this year because of his job. This coming Saturday our icefishing group starts dock tournaments, he's ready to go. We will get to practice our jigging and hopefully make a few bucks.

Nice job with the grandson , betcha he'll love it 😁 I don't have grandkids yet , just a 22 and 12yr old  sons . I wish they would've had grand parents who cared and wanted to do things with them 🤬🤬 ..... I guarantee you that when I get grandkids we are gonna be in the woods hunting and on the water fishing all the time , even if I gotta hog tie them 😁
