Where is the public access to great pond where this derby is taking place? Thanks for any info

Just take the great pond rd in aurora to the end, you’ll be at the landing.

Just mind the hill at the end... it can get icy sometimes.... looks like the weather is going to cooperate so you should be all set

This is the one derby yearly that a buddy and I do not miss. It can be a slow pond but we always have a good time and it benefits a great cause.
This year we brought 2 more fishermen with us, had awesome weather and the ice was solid.
They have a great lodge and some good food going for folks to enjoy.
The door prizes and raffle are a nice ending. Fortunately, they moved everyone outside and used a PA system this year as last year it was impossible to hear anything.
The crowd seemed smaller this year but the 50/50 winner went home with $1,800 cash in his pocket.
Big thanks to Paul House and his crew for their mission and hard work pulling off an event like this.

Was a great atmosphere and for a great cause. First time on Great Pond and mostly caught monster yellow perch.
