Hey guys I'm planning on hitting pelican on monday  can anyone tell me what the ice is like over there ?
Might be good enough for walking by then. Check thickness often.
You can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which gets filled first.

Not sure about the thickness but people are out walking most lakes now.

Most of the ones I fish are around 6 as of yesterday but I know some are more. Just be careful you don't find a soft patch.

I was out yesterday.  5.5- 6".  I had my wheeler out, but parked a ways from where I fished.  I was a bit nervous as no one had been on this lake yet this season.  By the time I left, 2 others where out there too.
Fishing was ok, but everything was small.  Perch, pike, and sunnies.

I'm in Breezy. Hoping this rain didn't do much damage to ice quality

I've tried North Long and the Cullen lakes. Middle and upper must be fished out or something. Nothing turning up in either lake. I'm assuming that's why there weren't hardly any houses there.

North long is popular. Did ok there but nothing great
