Forgot to mentioned I decided not to do a v-nose shanty, ended up doing a flat-nose shanty and dimensions are 8 feet wide by 14.5 feet long and 8 feet tall. Will be solar powered with propane heating. Will also have an oven, toilette (porta potty), internet (wifi booster antenna outside), bell express vue and automotive radio with satelite radio.

Ice is now at 9 to 10 inches. Shanty is almost insulated all that is left to do is cabinets and walls to cover pics soon.

Fishing starts on the 18th ice shanty is almost complete. All that is left to do is close the walls up tie in all the electrical cable and cut the holes. Pictures will follow as soon as all this is done.

Installed ice shanty friday evening and started fishing at 1:33 am Saturday. Only little problem is when I opend up a hole a geyser came rushing through the hole now I have a lake 16 inches deep around the shanty. At least caught a Turbot.
