Jigging for cusk
« on: Jan 18, 2011, 10:08 AM »
I've only ever set tip ups for cusk, but after reading a few threads it seems like people hammer them on jigs. Never jigged for anything before, any suggestions? (jig type, bait etc.)

any suggestions?

Read through many of the threads on the cusk page, and use the search engine on this site.   ;)

But seriously, you can't go wrong with a good sized spoon that glows, with a whole smelt on the hook.

Buck tail jig and some stinky day old chopped up sucker on the hook or other bait fish.
