Hey, was wondering if anyone has been on the ice in central Vt area since the warm weather? Was wondering how Waterbury, Peacham, Berlin, etc... Ice is. Any info is much appreciated. Be safe...

Caspian had 5-8 inches depending on the location. I wandered over a good part of it today. Tried to stay away from a few grey ice spots that were probably safe but looked and felt a little sketchy. It was popping and groaning to beat the band.
Didn't cover any ground on Joe's Pond this evening but ice was at least six inches.

I dont think the warm weather hurt us too bad. I fished nelson yesterday and there was still 6-8 inches of clear black ice on on all the holes I drilled. the inlets are the only thing that took a beating. Saw people out on Wrightsville, and curtis

Harvey's Lake had 5-6 inches this morning. Drove by Woodbury yesterday and there were people out fishing in front of the ramp. I agree that the central Vt ice survived the warm weather pretty well.
